Game Day Jambalaya
Football all day.....Cowboys play tonight. My son has been craving some Jambalaya for some time. Figured today would be a good day for it. Going to do a big ol' crockpot full of it. Using Chicken and some good homemade spicy sausage my buddy made last week. Everything is on and realized I had no shrimp....oh well, doesn't go in until the end so plenty of time to run to the store and pick some up. If it turns out good I will post it in the recipe section....if not, we will never speak of this again.....

That sounds good, but I don't need shrimp in mine.

Sounds good, but as I've heard elsewhere, 'no pics, didn't happen"!

I leave the shrimps out of my Jamba (allergy) so I know it'll still be good with out 'em. A big serving over some rice sure sounds good 'bout now.

Re: Game Day Jambalaya
Sorry...no pic's. Was in such a hurry to get ready for the game that I completely forgot....Then again.....Budweiser and advancing age don't seem to help either. Found I didn't have everything needed so had to make due with several substitutions. Used both Beef and Chicken Broth and went ahead and added the rice to it. Also used some freshly ground Ancho and Arbol Chili powder's along with Cayenne. Never did make it to the store, so just went with the Chicken and Sausage. Came out real good...also ended up with enough to feed a third world nation...
