Oysters for breakfast - why not

Postby egghead » Wed Sep 02, 2009 11:25 pm

For a late morning breakfast I lightly breaded a couple oysters and pan fried in a CI skillet on the small BGE

Put them in a pastry shell

Filled the shell with eggs scrambled with tabasco, and green onions and topped with some cheese just before done

Aw yes, a breakfast quiche. Looks very good. 8)

I make a mini version of these with various meats and cheeses in the smoker for appetizers. I call them Two-Bite Delights.

Very interesting idea, EH. I'd be more than willing to try that for breakfast.
