Birthday Dinner for Pam.

Postby OSD » Fri Jan 23, 2009 9:21 pm

As most everyone knows I always cook a special dinner for Pam on her Birthday. :D So, here we go. :D

Image
Always have to start with flowers and a card

Image
Shrimp cocktail with spicy dipping sauce

Image
Bacon wrapped Fillet Mignon, asparagus with Hollandaise sauce, Morrel mushrooms sauted in butter, dark Burgundy wine & garlic.
A souffle made with potato, mozzarella cheese, & crab meat, then a crusted top of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
A shrimp and a scallop scampi done with butter, white wine, garlic, and fresh chopped parsley. Served with grated Parmesan cheese and chives.

Image
Baked hot apple surprise with a crumb topping. Served with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Served with a cup of Kona coffee.

:D :D

Jim, Jim haven't you already made it hard enough on us mortal spouses.
My wife's birthday is this coming week so I'll take her to Pappadeaux's (cajun) feed her some mud bugs and she'll be happy.

PT, wish the Mrs. happy birthday for me. :D Pam would be very happy to sit down to a big plate of mudbugs. We don't have a Pappadeaux's down here. :?

Dan, I would gladly cook some for your birthday, but I think it might get cold by the time I could get it there. :D

Mike, my brother-in-law sent me bunches of them this last year. I cooked alot of them, but I took some and strung them on a heavy cotton thread and let them dry and then sealed them in bags. Sadly, that was the last of my stash.

Just saw this - OMG! Now I have to delete it before my wife sees it. What a great dinner! Makes me envious!
