Blind Luck Dutch Oven Bread

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Wed Dec 22, 2021 1:18 pm

Did this with a slack dough (a la 5-Minute Bread) of about 50% mixed whole wheat and white.

It's been a couple of years since we baked one of these. Mere blind luck that it came out well, and it was difficult not to eat the whole thing. (We did steal and butter a piece or two).

Warm, fresh baked bread is fantastic. This looks awesome.

A slice of warm bread with dairy butter and maybe a slice of brown cheese is like heaven.

It's a great bread for sandiwches or just eating with a little (or a lot of) butter. :D

We did another one. I am ashamed to tell you how many pieces we gobbled with butter the instant it cooled.
