Salsa Saturday

Postby Rambo » Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:57 am

I’ve finally grown a sufficient amount of late summer Roma’s to make a batch of Smoked Salsa. I’ll fire up the Pit in the morning and smoke the tomatoes. I’m going to spatchcock a chicken while I have the pit fired up

It all turned out really good. If I could find smoked Salsa already made up I’d probably quit doing this; it’s a lot of work

I also feel that way about smoked Salsa and Jalapeno Jelly :whiteflag: :banghead: :deadhorse:

The Sto-bought just ain't near as Larapin, so I procrastinate and eventually just "do-it" :whiteflag:  :chef:

I used my meat grinder again and it’s the only way to go when you have a bunch of tomatoes. I did change to the smaller plate this time and I like the texture better than the coarse plate
