Don't kick me out!
This forum is abundant of great and delicious cooking and meals. Still I hope I'm not the only one that end up with very simple meals between all the goodies we present?
Today we had canned stew. Potatoes, carrots, onions and meat. We call it lapskaus. Served with Flatbread and Dijon mustard on top.
We have in a dark or light version. Dark has more taste IMHO.

Lol Joe, when I was growing up we ate a lot of Dinty Moore stew out of a can, not bad when you’re poor and hungry

Very true Parts. It was always Campbell’s in our house. I walk past the store display sometimes and count of how many different ones I’ve had.

Same here. It is just not deer hunting unless I have a can of Vienna Sausages and some cheese and crackers in my stand. Preferably Capitans Wafers and cooold sausages so you get the “jelly”.

My Wife doesn't Deer Hunt but she can put those Captains Wafers (Lance) Sour Cream and Chives away like Breathing.

Confession time. I’ve eaten those tamales in a can more than once. Not proud of that…
