King Cake

Postby egghead » Wed Feb 03, 2021 7:09 am

For those that may be unfamiliar, a King Cake is a Mardi Gras tradition. It’s made during Mardi Gras season and can include a plastic baby put under the cake - whoever gets the baby is responsible for providing the next King Cake. If you are near an HEB they likely have a few. Made on the other day and shared with a small group.

I think it’s more like a bread or perhaps a cinnamon roll than a cake - they’re good. I filled this one with cream cheese and pecans. :D
