On the Morning of Christmas

Postby OldUsedParts » Fri Dec 25, 2020 8:28 am

"On the Morning of Christmas"
"All thru the House"
"Wasn't much Stirring"
"Especially the Spouse"

"I'm in the Kitchen"
"Got things to Prepare"
"Breakfast from Norway?"
"So I must take care"

"Never stop stirring"
"Joe said Beware"
"Your milk will Scorch"
"And you'll pull out your Hair"

"Well, the Porridge is done"
"And Breakfast is down"
"Thanks Norway Joe"
"Think I'll have another Round"

Awesome. Thanks for the cool poem.

What do you think? Did you like it?
I can see you finished your plate.

Did you manage not to scorch it? We never scrape the bottom of the kettle.

Yes, we like it - - - woke the Missus up and gave her a few tastes while it was fresh cooked and warm.
I didn't scorch it but I did scrap the bottom of the pot all of the time it was cooking.

It reminds us so much of our Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat breakfast bowls. Butter, Sugar and Cinnamon is added to them also. I didn't know if the Porridge was supposed to have a slightly granular texture or not but we did enjoy it.

Thanks again,
:chef:

Fantastic. It should be a little glanulary. That is the rice should be very soft bur nit disintegrated.

Consistence should be very thick.
