Pork tenderloin in the oven

Postby Norway Joe » Sat Aug 17, 2019 1:09 pm

Due to the bad weather we cook indoors today. Sometimes we make this dish.

Rubbed two tenderloins with spg and 1836.
Seared them in the pan and then over in a oven pan with some sliced carrots
Made some herb butter which was spread over the meat and carrots. Crushed a cube of chicken stock over on top. In the oven on 225 C for about 15 min. Served with mashed potatoes. Great tasting and easy dish.

A Brooklyn lager during the cooking and a local brew called the colonels Christmas. This was a leftover from my beer Christmas calendar so about time to drink it.

Revisited this dish today, but made it on the grill this time.

Tasted great. Served with mashed potatoes and the smoked egg salad I made earlier today. ImageImageImageImage
