My other one died after just three weeks and unfortunately my work didn’t have a replacement available so the gave me my money back. After a couple of weeks without one my wife decided it was needed and even used some of her Amazon gift cards to order a new Anova.
Maiden voyage was some chicken breast that I intended to sear on the kettle. However there wasn’t much fire left to my charcoal (I really don’t like Kingsford but just happened to have some) after I finished the potatoes and green beans on the grill. A lower heat is not ideal to finish but they still tasted really good just a tad over cooked and Not a pretty sear.
Next time I will stop and start more coals if needed…or use a longer burning charcoal.
All in all it was very tasty though!

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Yes indeed, we taught him early about the Friendship involved in having your "leg pulled" He's sent a few of us a few pay back shots also.
