Tom Yam Mixed Soup and Pad Krapau Talay

Postby daBertl » Tue Jan 22, 2019 6:05 am

Yesterday my wife kicked me out of the kitchen for I can not damage our nice looking food again :deadhorse: :angryfire: :D
She made a original spicy Thai Soup with Seafood and Chicken, the obligatory Rice, some Omelette and a very good dish with Seafood and a lot of different asian herbs.
My next steak I will damage again, because I could get used to doing nothing an waiting for food :rose: :chef: :salut:

Don´t you like Oktopus?
They are small ones, called Moscardini. They taste very good. :dont: :D

I would say the small ones do.
The bigger ones you have to cook long time or beat them onto a stone for about half an hour. You can also sous vide them for 8 hours.
Then you have wunderful tender tentacles which taste as a lobster.
For me the suction cups are the best. I cannot explain how they taste, but I can recommend for trying them.
But maybe make a bigger one.

The greek fisherman do that. I prefered alltime the Sous Vide Variation :D
Do they not have normal Oktopus in a Fish Shop? I think that Oktopus must be also in the Gulf of Texas :dont:
