Lamb roast

Postby Norway Joe » Sat Oct 27, 2018 1:02 pm

Still lamb season so we're sticking with lamb. We got a little bit of snow today so cooked inside. Lamb roast in the oven, gratinated potatoes with garlic and with Jarlsberg cheese on top. Served with fresh Spinach Salad and vinaigrette.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks. It's a redwinesauce with cream, rosemary, thyme, some of the cooking juice from the meat and a little bit of butter whisked in at the end.

Thanks. It's a Carlsberg organic pilsner. Danish beer.

The Mrs and I went to a new brewery last night that opened up down the street from us. Klaus Brewing Company. German beers, they were all good.

You're lucky. I agree with you that German beer us good. I tend to choose beer instead of wine. I sometimes buy Miller or Coors during the summer. Not so fan of Budweiser. Most of the times I brew my own beers. More variations. Beer is expensive here. Almost 3.5 usd for a 0.33 can in the grocery store.

You did it justice, couldn't do it better myself. And a nice drink to go with it.
