Kidnapped Dutch Baby

Postby OldUsedParts » Sun Aug 26, 2018 6:52 am

Well, I did my first one this morning and I thought it went pretty well, considering. Altho, I'm not real active on real sweet Breakfasts, I really enjoyed this mornings fixins. I don't think that you could find a simpler recipe for a quick breakfast that's leaning on sweetness.

Brushed it with Butter

Dusted with Powdered Sugah

Mixed up some of my homemade Jalapeno Jelly with some Local Mayhaw Jelly for a topping - along with some butter

Had me a second slice that sufficiently admonished my stay

Big question now, is will the Wiffy like it (cold?), if not, then I may need to use a small skillet and tweek the recipe in half. :salut:
Seems a shame to throw away such a purdy thang - - - NO, not the Wife, the Dutch Baby

Yo dude,
You dun did really well with that. It looks Zach Lee how it should, I bet it tastes spot on. I'm sure the Wifey will like it either way. Good job man, I really like that color along the perimeter.

Oh BTW,

Those freeze very well if you use vacuum packed bags so don't worry bout leftovers.
Just stick them in the oven with a little butter on top when u reheat them they're delicious second time around.

Wow! Great job on your first try, OUP! Glad you tried it out! Jalapeño jelly sounds interesting...never thought of throwing some heat on there.
Dutch baby’s heat well the next day but I think taste best right out of the oven.
Also, I pull mine out of the oven when the edges are almost black....personal preference though.

thanks, I just warmed up two slices for the Wiffy and she loved it :wav:

all she wanted on hers was some butter, then oven time and finally more powdered sugar
