Ever since a couple of average cooks on here taught me about "Rippers" I have become a true addict.
Today I stepped outa the Ripper Box to see if the technique would work well on Earl Campbell's Hot Links - - -
I will definitely do this again.
I never do but one or two of these and so I've been putting about 1/2" Canola Oil in a sauce pan and heat until it sizzles the weenie.
Then I turn and fry until they are very dark almost black - - - drain on a paper towel and let your creative building go.
