20 lbs of Chicken Teriyaki via Black Stone
Last night we got a break from a week of near 100 temps and high humiditity so I figured on doing our weekly cook last night in the 55 degree weather which was Perfect for the flat top :):)
10 lbs of Boneless Thighs, 12 peppers, 5 lbs of Carrots, 2 lbs of Shrooms and 6 heads of Broccoli and Sweet Teriyaki fixed us up good for a week or so.
In the vacuum pack and in the freezer for now.

Just plain Awesome as always - - - I'll bet that spatula and the blackstone sounded like John Bonham in "Whole Lotta Love"

Questions:
1. Are you feeding a Scout Troop?
2. Where is the location of this 55 degree weather?
3. What, in your estimate, is hot temperatures and high humidity?
Glad to see you back posting

So do you freeze into individual meals for say 2 or 3 people?? Good idea if you do! You've given me a few ideas actually. Great meal btw.

I had to dice and flip " Slowly & Quietly " cuz it was almost midnight and all of the neighbors lights were out. I was the only moron outside on the deck with the tikis and griddle smoke/steam. Besides, I didn't want to ( interrupt ) the cadence that the Coyotes had going on....
It used to be a bit unnerving to hear late at night outside, but after 11 years up here it's kinda Kool to hear it as long as WE'RE NOT on thier pre eating/killing howls...

Um, no, no Scout Troop, just cooking in bulk for the week since neither of us have the time at night after work.
As for the 55 degrees, we we're blessed with that up here in North East Pennsylvania late Friday night.
I'll take 55 degrees all year if I could..
I think as I get older, the heat/humidity bother me more and more.
I used to LOVE hot weather. I never minded sweating or high humiditity until probably the last 5 years or so.
Plus, it doesn't help that I'm in a hot warehouse first thing in the morning lugging and loading Tractor Trailer parts around, loading the box truck with them and delivering them mostly by hand. Trailer drums and landing gear take it's toll day in and day out but don't get me wrong, I like doing it, it's great exercise but to do it when the temp is 100 and index is 115 with high humiditity when ur " used to " max temps of 85/90 is a little bit too much.
Believe me, I know those temps are far cooler than say Texas, Arizona etc...etc....
We'll get thru it, I just like the cooler weather lately, especially standing over the 4 burner Black Stone.

Thank you and Yes, we do freeze these in vacuum packed freezer bags in 2 portions per bag.
It's real convenient to pop a bag out the night before, come home from work and throw in the Paella Pan for a good quick dinner.

When the Wiffy glanced at the pics she said "Wow, did he have Family over for the Fourth of July ?" and I replied "Naww, as a matter of fact, his Wife and Son were visiting Family and that was his Supper that night?" From the look I got, I'm thinking she didn't buy it one bit

Amazing meal, WV. You always make me want to copycat you. Keep cool and steer clear of the coyotes!
