We had gotten this little electric rotisserie a while back at a thrift store, but we haven't used it much. Since this was a rainy day here, we decided to try it with a Cornish Game Hen, that was about 1-3/4 lbs. We used Sailor's Tail End mix for a rub and cooked it in the machine for an hour. It turned out pretty good. We had it with scalloped potatoes and green beans. Unfortunately, by the time we remembered to take a picture of a plate, the food was nearly gone. Here's what the cooked bird looked like:
Next time, we'll try a normal, small chicken, if we can find one. The supermarkets here tend to just sell chickens on steroids.

Re: Rotisserie Game Hen
The pic makes it look WAYYY bigger than it actually was. Barely enough for two...but it was as goooood as it looked.
Small correction: I just remembered we used SB TX Pecan rub, my go-to for bird. And it's time to order more.

Re: Rotisserie Game Hen
Looks good to me, we have some (10) wife bought on special for $5 ea for .950 Gm . I cook these as theirs just the 2 of us. Perfect and cheap meal. Is the cooker an air fryer? They've been advertising these here a lot, got me interested in them, maybe?

Thanks.
Air fryers are good, but this was a rotisserie, and I think the hen came out better than the one we did in the air fryer.
Sooner...It does look like a squatty turkey!
