Good day for deep frying.

Postby bondobill » Sun Feb 25, 2018 2:07 pm

Mother Nature made up my mind for me on yesterday cook.
I hade a whole chicken in a brine for cooking on Sat.
I ended up cutting the bird up and enjoyed some good ole fried chicken.

Soaked the pieces in buttermilk for a bit before rolling them in the breader.

Yep Em .Adkinsons it is.
Never tryed it with the buttermilk soak before. Thanks for turning me on to that.
Much better then just moisting with water or beer.
Didn't have any buttermilk in the fridge so I made up my own. Probably would of been better with the real thing but I ain't complaining.

Thanks y'all for looking

Chicken looks great, and it is beautiful there, just not what an old mans bones would like. I'll stay down here where it is supposed to be 60 today.
