I never thought of venison, but I do lamb shanks a lot in the winter, slow cooked for about 8 hours in a crockpot. I'm gunna keep an eye out for venison now. Yours look great.

Thank ya, sir! I've only seen lamb shanks locally one time. And they were expensive; 8.99 per lb.
