Postby JustinCouch » Mon Feb 05, 2018 8:22 pm

In sitting in a sesspit of flu at my house. The wife and the little girl have it. I figured I would go ahead and make some comfort food. I will post pics later.

I'm sorry to hear that about them being sick with the flu :(

I hope it's NOT the new strain that's been going around JC ?
I know that first and foremost you are concerned with them, just be careful that you don't get it. They are gonna need you healthy for them.

It's worth a shot, if they're not allergic to honey, see if you can find some ( Buckwheat ) Honey.
I have almost NO immune system, so when I get sick, I'm pretty much down for the count a long time.
I know that this particular honey seems to be the only honey that helps me get back on my feet.
I'm not sure what does it, but 3 times this year I was sick and all 3 times I took a teaspoon 3 times a day and then in some green tea at night and I felt better pretty quickly.
I also hit the " POM " Juice heavy, it's Filled with antioxidants...

Hope they all bounce back fast, well be thinking of all of you.

As for that soup, it sounds great, and tyvm for that recipe, I have a screenshot of it.

Sucks that they're sick, but looks like they've got some good nutrition coming their way! Excellent job! That recipe sounds legit.
