Crab cakes - yes!

Sangria- No! Had a bad experience in college. Seems there was a tub of sangria and a tub of “punch”, and nobody told me which was which. Made for a kaleidoscope evening.

Thanks guys, much appreciated !

It was actually a first so in pretty happy how they came out.
I was never a Tarter sauce fan, but this recipe changed my mind.
3 pounds of Lump Crab got is 15 cakes.

One slid off the oily spatula and hit the floor, sounded like a book hitting the floor lol.
I told Deb....

NO WAY we're throwin this away, lol.

So, off to the neighbors with the other 14 after we knocked that one off in a hurry after I inspected it :):)

Isn't there some "rule" about being able to rescue dropped food if picked up within a certain time frame? I forget, because the rule never applies around here because the puppies are under foot waiting and praying for just such an occurrence. My Cavalier has regretted some things he wolfed down on the fly because a lot of our food is pretty highly spiced. Then we have to watch him licking his chops for 10 minutes trying to get rid of the heat. :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:
