Friday's Fauxjitas
I had a small piece of leftover Grilled Ribeye in the Frig and had planned on choppin it up for Tacos but all of this Fajita Talk this week got me to thinking. We all know how dangerous that can be but I lucked out and it t'wernt dat bad.
Chopped up some sweet own-yawns, a penner and a sweet pepper
Put in skillet with some butter and oil and started sweetin them down
After they had softened I dumped in the Sliced Steak
Sprinkled with Fajita Seasoning.
When everything had gotten together I put it on a Guerrero Flour Tort and
added some Sour Cream and Sooner Sauce.
Then I wrapped and ATE

Yup - agreed on the cold weather and Fajita. Queso is a must as well.

Re: Friday's Fauxjitas
There are a lot different tortillas out there but Guerreros is the best.
You aren't the only one that makes great use of leftover steak.

FAT, it's the ONLY tort that I will buy/use and I must give credit to our late great member, Chili Farmer, that we lost earlier this year for turning me onto them. I think of Bill every time I take one out to use.

Re: Friday's Fauxjitas
thanks, Wild Bill, rare for me also but my cats won't eat leftovers like that and my heart won't let me trash it.

Re: Friday's Fauxjitas
Our cats would eat leftover oatmeal 'n' toast. Ribeye wouldn't stand a chance.
