So playing around with an idea of an orange pie.. I modified a lemon meringue/key lime recipe to use orange instead. I have to say the results were interesting! It's not as orange-y as I'd have liked. A bit subtle, BUT, noticibly orange. I added some orange zest to the meringue and prayed that it would develop properly and although I did not achieve perfect stiff peaks, I did get a usable meringue to top it. It is Browning in the oven at this very moment.
