Talking of cheap food, wife's at a school reunion this weekend, daughters partner at a family funeral in the North Island, so daughter and grandsons coming to have some dinner with me tonight. Stuff out of the freezer is what we are having, bit of a smorgasbord.
Mini hot dogs
Spring rolls
Cheese rolls
Dressed sausages
Chicken croquettes.
Should keep everyone happy, daughter requested I make my satay sauce for her to take home. Win win. Good food, and family.
