Been salivating at the thoughts over our home baked bread lately and wanted to light some Lump and cut up some local farmers Apples. Went and found some Perfectly Ripen Nannas and pulled out the ole Kitchen Aid.
Grabbed a boat load of ingredients from the spice cabinet and here we are :):)
Thought I'd go Rogue and half another Nanna, hit it with a Cinnamon/Sugar bath and lay it on top after the first 20 minutes of baking. I figured if I did in the beginning, it would sink like the Titanic !......or like the Chocolate Chips that I'll probably find there, grrrr..

The top loaf is the Apple Bread which I plan on using in the A.M. A little butter and across the flat top for a few minutes, I can smell/taste it now. :)

Pics soon , I'm half way there ..

Dude !!

Wait till u see the pics coming up!
The Apple just finished, it smells like an apple orchard in this house !
Outside on the deck , anywheres within 5 feet of the Akorn all you smell is fresh Nannas & Milk Chocolate :)
I wanted to see how milk chocolate will work instead of the common usual semi sweet chips will work out.

Almost there buddy, almost there lol

Believe it or not, they weren't that bad with the sugar..

Applesauce/apples/bananas we're the main sweeteners.

Ok, maybe I'm downplaying the 1 cup of sugar in each and the frosting on the one lol.

I'm impressed tho, not a single stick of butter used and they were both moist as all get out !

You really are an evil person. :laughing7: :laughing7: Now I have to plea bargain with my wife for some of her strawberry bread. It will be in the oven but it is delish. No telling what this is going to cost me in the long run. I hope you are enjoying this.  I'm sure there are many forum members about to have to agree to many unsavory things to get their significant others to fix something similar.  I do most of the cooking, she does ALL of the baking so I am at a disadvantage. Thanks buddy :dont: :dont:

Nothing Sinister meant Outlaw :) you have some type of Egg or Kamado I think right ??

If so, you should dive Right in and whip one of these up, it's so easy a Cave Man could do it.
I promise you that once you bake this way, you will forget the oven exists, they come out that moist and Perfectly cooked. I use mine for just about everything, all thru the year even in 2 ft of snow, I just shovel a 2 ft long path to it on the deck :)

...and NO, I did NOT call you a Cave man lol
