Eclipse Casserole

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Mon Aug 21, 2017 12:23 pm

70 % cover here. Chili bottom (and yes! I used beans...along with garden peppers and tomatoes, and some white onyawn.). Tater tot topping. Plenty of chez. Lettuce slaw side, some chips. Simple as can be.

Thanks.

We got a Cheshire Cat-grin sun, major cooling effect, orangey-coppery light, and I'm typing this with a cane. 8) :laughing7:

This eclipse siting stuff on TV is for the birds, I've seen worse. Took the wife and son on vacation to Calyfohnia a few years ago, and there we were smack on Malibu Beach enjoying the sunset, when suddenly Rosie O'Donnell stood up in front of us. It's true what they say, a major eclipse like that can make you go blind.

And just think, she is on her way out of the country since Trump is president!! Yeah, right. Not one of those Never Trumpers have done like they said. I was looking forward to the overall intelligence curve to take a little uptick when she, Samuel L Jackson, Miley, etc,etc packed their bags.

None of them left 'the last time' they swore they would, either. :laughing7:

That's the benchmark for a good dish.
