I'm not opposed to crock pot cooking! Looking forward to the finished product; these certainly look promising!

Emm,
I'm not sure how they taste, we will try them tonight.
I woke up at 3 for the bathroom and kitchen aroma filled the house
They are sealed now resting in thier own juices.
Gonna get the grill real hot and quickly baste em with more sauce , hopefully caramelize them a bit.
I'm betting on the Pecan/Peach as well :)
Tex,
That sounds like a Great idea. I'm gonna try that and probably pull some and do tacos of some sort ?
Outlaw,
I was concerned about coiling them up, but surprisingly they didn't break apart.
These are way too simple, but the taste is amazing as you know..

WV, your approach is always interesting!
I'm afraid the smell would keep me up all night, lol. They'd find me in the morning with my head next to the slow cooker.

Thank you sailor,
I try to do ( unusual ) things sometimes and see what comes of it.
Some are good, some are.....well, ya know lol.
As much as I wanted to eat some this morning, I knew better. I don't eat much till 9 or 10 am and if I did, it might not have been good for my stomach, sometimes just the smell of some foods in the morning turns my stomach for some reason.
It did however smell pretty good.

iffin ya gotz da time I'm thinking I'd lightly saute the serranos and own-yawns together in olive oil or butter or both
nuttin wrong with crunchy veggies but sometimes, especailly on soft tacos, I want a softer bite and chew.

I'll have to do the Serrano's very conservatively...
Deb won't eat them, I will but the entire neighborhood will suffer the weather that follows, lol

Your choice, but I prefer raw. Fine chop.
