Fixing breakfast and remembering my Dad and his dis-taste for Omelettes - - - he would not eat
"Ah-mah-letoes" as he would reflect on his Service
Days and how the Phillipino waitresses would pronounce it. So, here's to you Scrappy/Dad, as I recycle some Pork Loin and assorted goodies. If you were here we'd be having Steak and Eggs

We call that bruschetta topping. When my wife wants a light meal, it's my go to quickee, lol. Just a little coriander though, more basil. She don't like coriander aka cilantro.i never thought of adding that to an omelette.

Nought wrong with tex mex, that's why we are all here isn't it? Lol. We had nachos last night, daughter in law said they had a kick she loved them. I'm having leftovers for lunch. Sour cream makes this dish.

thanks, Boots, to tell you the truth, I really don't know - - he was part of the Motor Pool and they landed in Korea but he was like most from that War and didn't talk about hardly anything except the lighter moments - - - - my oldest son has the 6.5 Jap Arisaka that I customized for Dad and still hunts with it !
