And just for clarification …its pronounced CRAH-PEE :)

I have yet to find a better tasting lake fish.

Yep Crappie, Okra and golden potatoes peeled and cut up by me. Golden potatoes are the best potatoes. :coolnana: :trainnana:

Excellent diversion from the rain bobcat - that is a feast

Sacalait or sac-a-lait literally translates to bag of milk. Lait is French for milk and refers to the fish's white meat. Caught, cleaned, fried, and ate many sacalait with pawpaw, RIP.

Now you may want to check out "choupique" pronounced shoe-pick.
