- Seasoned and cooked up some chicken.
- Cooked the roux for about 45 minutes.
- Added the onion, bell pepper, celery, minced garlic and sausage to the roux along with a little seasoning, cooked a few minutes and then added the chicken broth and let cook for an hour.
- Chicken added and cooked for another hour.
- Added the shrimp and cooked a few more minutes, put the stove on low till time to eat.
- Time to eat.
