Cajun BBQ Shrimp

Funny that I saw this in another thread and made some this weekend. I cooked them a tad long, but they were delicious, we will definitely be making them again. Props to a guy I used to work with, his Parents wrote a fantastic Cajun Cookbook and he gave me one. With the weather being too cold for my wife and Friends to hang out outside while I grilled, we opted for the kitchen, they played cards while I cooked. If you get a chance find the book Cook and Tell by Billy Tauzin, grab it, the recipes are great.

Those look great. Did the recipe call for a brand of seasoning or did you mix one up?

We have been pleased with river road BBQ shrimp seasoning.

Yeah it's more like a blackened shrimp, than BBQ..
Wife isn't into Catfish, but a Courtbullion is really similar to a Sauce Pequant. I plan to try it with a fish she likes. I like Alligator Sauce Piquant, but any wild game especially rabbit Sauce Piquant is great. Thinking the slight differences are for the flavor profile of fish.
