Salami 'n' cheese bread

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Thu Oct 27, 2016 6:09 pm

Now that it's cold we felt like baking again. We bought some deli ends (Genoa salami, Swiss cheese cubes) and there's a local high-end market that sells a bread ring studded with prosciutto, so I wanted to try my hand at re-creating this.

Instead of flattening the dough and sprinkling on the salami 'n' cheese, maybe I should have just kneaded in the deli ends and then formed the ring. Oh, well, next time. Came out okay, tasted good.

And now you know why we didn't have those Russian Roulette chips with the chili mac....needed to try a hunk of this.

I bet that's an experience straight out of the oven, lashings of butter. Yummo.
