Hey ya'll. Had a hankerin' for some pizza so I whooped up some dough saturday night, let it rest for 24 hours then did one up last night on the pizza stone on mrs. blues gas grill. Rolled it out. Docked it and then brushed with olive oil and then topped with roasted garlic, sun dried toms, sauteed chantrelle mushrooms, julienned habs and just a little bit of low fat mozz. Slapped it on the stone and put the paietus to it. Done in 8 minutes flat.
A few party goer's..
Dressed for the ball and lookin' snappy..
Hotness!
Not quite as chewy as I like but still pretty dadgum guuud! Healthy too!
Still have some dough. Might have to do another'n tonight.
Cheers, TB.

Re: Pizza!
That looks good. I glad it did not break your diet and small dents on a diet doesn't count as breaking it.

Re: Pizza!
I do my zuh's right on the grate...no stone.
Toss it on, let it puff up
Flip it over (should be toasty on that side)
Slap on your toppings and give it about 4 more minutes.
Crispy and slightly charred in spots, chewy in the middle. Tastes like a good ol fashioned wood fired brick oven pizza.
I use basil pesto, thin sliced roma tomatoes, and feta cheese.
cut my dough in 4ths and roll into 10 inch personal rounds.
nice thing...bout 250 cal per personal pizza.

Re: Pizza!
I like to do mine right on the grate too. I like the crispy edges. One of my bud's owns a wood fired pizza joint in Ludlow, VT. Best pizza I ever ate. That's why I started cooking it on the grate. Tried the stone & it wasn't the same.
