The most important lesson I learned today is that if you want to get good photos of your food, don't invite your inlaws over for dinner. I only had time to get a few shots before I was forcibly seperated from my camera and people started eating.
My 2nd time grilling went very well. I scorched the asparagus a little bit, but it tasted great anyway. I have to give credit to my wife too for helping me out a little with the prep work.
I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to grill with the rain today, but found that if I arrange it like this, I can grill all yar long.

That's my normal state.
I just can't figure out if it's hunger or vertigo that's makin' me dizzy.
Great job, Derek! Glad you were able to get you cook done.
