Well this mushroom thread is getting way out of control. Fact is they my favorite fungi...as far as I know. Now the big porta bellows which taste like they got eyetalian spice on there..I can take it or leave it. Now with beef stroganoff...I would be highly peeved for somebody to have forget the shrooms. Is this making any sense here?

Well just trying to give an abbreviated word for mushrooms. Saving bandwidth for the sysop etc. I deserve to be stoned..no doubt. No pun intended of course.

I ain't throwing no rocks :smokin:   Last time I looked, it was still pretty much a free country and if folks want to eat stuff that I'd pay to have taken away more power to the people.

Yum, we love mushrooms, like to saute them with butter and white wine, and a dash of worchestershire sauce...wonderful...the wife and i love them, none of our kids will eat them though, more for us i figure.

I only eat the store bought ones though, have heard enough horror stories of people picking the wrong ones and dying awful deaths, no thanks.
The only time to eat diet food is while you're waiting for the steak to cook.

We love the shrooms as well. My wife likes to add them to just about every dish. The latest was shrooms in homemade chicken noodle soup, I was leery at first, but it was good! We always add a TON of shrooms to our spaghetti sauce. Shrooms are definitly a good thing.
