There are a couple really good ones there. :D I think it should be informative and not just something funny that someone new or thinking about joining the forum may not understand. We all laugh and understand, but someone new may not. :D JMHO

Was in Kings (kroger) yesterday. If the economy doesn't take a turn for the better I bet more folks will get into this. They were asking nearly $5/$ for bulk Chorizo which is basically ground up butt with plus a few ingredients that aren't hard to find or expensive.

You can usually find a porkert (grinder) at a yard sale for a buck or so and even new are only about $40, and that would get a guy/gal started.

I went for the basics.... Sausage 101, sounds good, simple, and to the point. Ready, Set, Grind.

Sausage 101 is short and simple, but the subtitle would be shorter than the forum title, and what about the 201, 301, and 401s? and cured meats? Just my .02.

I dont think it needs to be that confusing. I chose Sausage 101 as well. Click on it and see what's there, simple as that

I chose 'The place for sausage making and curing meats.' only because I thought it would get past and more in depth than 'sausage making 101'.

I dido Bowhunter since I think meat curing is the least understood process and that sub is most descriptive.
