when it comes to home made vs store bought price doesn't matter as much to me because the quality of home made is by far superior to anything mass produced. almost everything I make myself if I were to add a labor cost would be more expensive than what can be "store bought" in my opinion the knowledge is worth something and knowing what is not in my food has value also.(imho)

I've had a great time experimenting with wild game preservation like this. It is much more trial and error than store bought due to inconsistent spoilage timelines. I have only had 1 issue out of over 20 projects. 5% fail rate on those figures :violent: As I mentioned before, the trick is expedient process beginning; within the first 12 hours of harvest.
