Making Jerkey with Hoochie Mama

Postby jmcrig » Mon Nov 26, 2012 6:21 pm

Just wondering if anyone has tried using Hoochie Mama Rub to make beef jerky?

I bet it would be good. Not to hijack thread but I used Hoochie Mama on our Thanksgiving bird and everyone loved it. It was cooked in the oven and was delicious

Well just got around to experimenting with Hoochie Mama to flavor some beef jerky. Not completely done yet, but an early taste was excellent.

Finished it up and it's really good. A little bite at the end. I'll do a test taste at work tomorrow. If it's a hit, I'll start selling it.

Sounds great Mark.
I've thought about doing the same with Big Ron's Hint of Houston or maybe some kicked up Memphis Dust.
