I gonna say that one would have to be in love with sausage making to drop $500 on that.
I don't have that much invested in my grinder, stuffer, mixer, scales, intestigator and two foldup work tables not to mention my cold smoker too.
I'm not saying he doesn't have $800 invested I'm just saying one can spend more wisely. For example how many of us hobby sausage makers really need to grind up 600lb. of sausage fixin' in an hour?
Cabelas currently has their 5lb stuffer for $99, their 20lb mixer for $99, slicer with digital scale for $99 and a grinder for that or less.
