More Venison Chili

Postby bowhnter » Sat Jan 24, 2009 3:29 pm

This is not as thick or as hot as I wanted, but we have company, so I lost out.
Used some venison burger and some venison brats I cooked yesterday.

Used some Sucklebusters Chili seasoning, and some of ChiliFarmers made salsa.
Bill, I really like that added in (a couple tablespoons) to the pot, but my wife had me back down the heat a little, so I had to add more juice.

BTW, PhotoBucket is blocked by sending me some kind of virus, so I am linking these to another forum if it works)

Most of the ingredients

Prior to adding the burger and liquids

Ready to simmer

Does look fine indeed. I know too well the "don't make it too hot" line.

Just got done slicing up some venison for jerky. It's marinating right now. Just hope the dehydrator still works

I also get the "not to hot" instructions from my bride. Chili looked great -
