Try 'er on high this time. It should simmer as it is cooking. :idea:

You can also substitute regular hamburger meat and/or ground pork too.

I nornally add several tablespoons of pepper sauce at the end to finish it off with a kick...

Hey Brandon; one thing you might consider is cooking your onion and peppers whole until soft then liquify in the blender with a little broth. I do this with pintos and chili for a smooth gravy consistency. I totally agree with Gator on utilizing beef broth in addition to water.
