Re: chili today
My DIL Jennifer made a big pot yesterday that was sooo good, there were no leftovers. Mine is not as good as hers, but it'll do.

Re: chili today
Thanks,
This is the recipe I used
1lb ground pork
3lb Beef Carne Picada meat
8oz chopped white onion
7oz chopped purple onion
1 large pablano chopped
28oz can crushed tomatos and juice
8tbl spoons Sucklebusters Chili seasoning
1tbl spoon Texas Gunpowder
1tbl spoon cummin
1tbl spoon habanero sauce
Cover bottom of pot with olive oil and sweat onions and pablano. When the veggies are soft remove from pot and set aside.
Put ground pork and beef into pot and cook until meat turns grey
Add onions and pablano and crushed tomatos
Cover with two twelve ounce beers
Stir in all spices
Cover and simmer on low for 3-4 hours, stirring every thirty minutes or so. I also used a potato masher to break up the beef during the cook.
Thanks again, give it a try.
