Today i tried the comp rub! Let me start off by saying that i'm no expert on briskets,by any means.I put it on the UDS @ 5am(market trimmed 6lb.)Left it on til 165* internal then wrapped til 208*Then put in cooler for couple hours.I didnt get much of a smoke ring buy was very satisfied with the taste and texture.I think i went a little light on the coat but overall turned out very good.My better half said it was the best one yet,I also used it on 2 racks BB ribs. The ribs turned out very well also.Overall i was pleased with the rub,I could tell this morning it was gonna be good just from the smell. Thanks,Dan!!

What size do 'yall prefer?

I can do:
1 lb bags
32 oz shakers (1.5 lbs)
1 gallon jugs (5 lbs)

Pricing will be similar to my existing products, I need to finalize this week.

Tweeked the comp rub a bit for this past weekends comp at Meridian; I used a combination of Sucklebusters comp rub with the rub I am currently using. I will let the results speak for it self; 4 place brisket out of 165 teams.
Thanks Dan

That's an impressive finish. Congrats. Sounds like the new rub is a winner too!

On a somewhat related note, I got to try the hog waller & the SB sauce on some spares for the first time yesterday. Thought they were great and really loved the sauce. Will post pics when I get a chance to upload the camera.
