This batch didn't seem to draw as much liquid as the first test.
We could't stand to wait any longer, time for tastin'.
We loved the "freshness", and taste over anything on the market.
I asked Cindy to write down what she thought.
Has more of a cilantro flavor than the first
More spice flavors but not as hot
I like this

I halved the salsa, left one cold and heated the other. No liquid added
Image
For me heating the salsa brought out more the heat. I like it
There is none left to share with co-workers this time. Cin and I went chip to chip on this run and left nothing for anyone.
I like this one as much as the last. Very good. The tomatoes I use this time were the same as last. Store brand, .69 a can.
I think what I really like about this product(other than the excellent flavor)is the versitility.
You want chunky, mix and leave as is.
You want a smoother texture, mix in a blender to desired texture.
Serve cold
Or hot
This product lets the end user decide what they want, and delivers the goods on taste.
Double thumbs up from us.
Dan, thanks for giving us the chance to try it out.
You have a winner.

Thanks Rich - I'll let some others give it try before commenting too much.

Mixed up batch #2! Seemed to be a bit more mix in the package this time, but that could be my imagination. Used the same brand/type of canned maters. Mixed it up and let it sit in the fridge for most of the day. Again, the mix soaked up most all of the liquid from the maters. Tasted it as was before adding a couple of teaspoons of water to it.

Seemed to notice a nice cilantro taste w/ the garlic still present in a good way. The heat level actually seemed a bit more toned down this time, but I would still grade it at medium. There seems to be a bit more going on with this batch, but in a very good way. Hard to decide which batch I liked better, they were both good. Would be nice to do a side by side comparison, but batch #1 didn't last very long! 8)

Thanks again for the opportunity Gator! I really think you've got an interesting, very tasty and marketable product here.

BTW: Batch #2 didn't last long around here either!

I mixed up Salsa part II,

I used diced tomatoes vs the stewed tomatoes last time; there wasn't as much liquid after the mix but there was some.

Left it in fridge over night Friday and unveiled it Saturday for our cook. Many of the same people from the last taste were there.

We noticed added cilantro: good!
We also noticed something changed, more of an italian flavor, don't know what changed but IMHO batch#1 had a better flovor.
