I knew joining this forum would be bad news for my wallet.
I tried out the Texas Mesquite rub, mainly because my wife doesn't like heat on any level. I'm not a fan of sweet rubs, but much to my surprise, I found this rub is killer on chicken. I just reordered 2 more.
I also ordered some 1836 and SPG to try - planning to blend them on my next brisket cook.
I'm impressed with the product and plan to try more.

Their products are second to none when it comes to the right stuff for BBQ and Smoking - - - I would recommend some of my favorites but since your Wiffy is anti-heat, I'd better not.

OK, I use Hootchie Mama on just about every kind of meat. Their Campfire Steak Seasoning is my favorite for steaks and is loaded with fresh cracked pepper. The other two that I use a lot are Texas Pecan and 1836. The sweetness of the Texas Pecan will enhance you creativity and imagination. Sometimes I'll grab the SPG instead of the salt and pepper shakers and haven't been disappointed.
Enjoy

Re: New to SuckleBusters and Loving It
Thanks, OUP. I've been looking at the Campfire rub, as well as Hootchie Momma.
I'll take my time to try them....gives me a reason to fire up the smoker and try something new.

Big Welcome, I have not tried the SB Mesquite yet but do love the SB Pecan on the ribs. You will love the SPG and 1836 on the brisket, makes a great bark. Great on ribeyes as well.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

Re: New to SuckleBusters and Loving It
My order arrived today. I gave the 1836 a taste.
I see a killer brisket in my future with this rub.

Gator,
The 1836 is fantastic on beef!
I used it on a smoked round roast and it really shined. It's definitely going on the next brisket I cook.
I'm not done exploring your rubs.
