Howdy folks - we are working on a few new rubs - I need 15 - 20 volunteers to participate in the first round of rub samples.

What is required:

1. First do a smell test - right out of the bag for aroma and taste.

2. Next do a BBQ cook test using the rubs. I prefer that you cook a single rack of ribs placing all 3 samples; right side, middle & left side OR cook 3 racks, one with each rub.

3. You must provide direct feedback with the results posted here or in a PM. Rank the rubs 1, 2 & 3. You must say why and include as much honest detail as possible.

If you have multiple people taste and score/rate/rank the rubs - even better. The sample rubs will ship out early next week and we need results within 2 weeks of receiving the rubs.

FYI, these are wood smoke flavored rubs - pecan - so if you do not like smoke flavor added to your rubs, please do NOT volunteer to participate.

So we are looking at results in by say May 2nd or 3rd ? Want to do this but time is a Factor. Have not had time to post anything yet, but my new team got two walks and took 5th overall at our first comp. All Sucklebusters!

I'd certainly be interested...

I'm in there like swimwear! I am actually doing a big cook this Sunday for about 20 folks with a brisket, 2 racks of ribs and a chicken. I would love to be able to try these rubs for it. I'm not too far from you if you want me to come get them I can.

I'll give em a go!!
