After MUCH pondering on this subject and countless test batches...SuckleBusters products will now include an anti-caking agent (silica) going forward. This is not a cost issue, adding silica costs more and we are not changing our prices. This is a quality issue. The general public and most BBQers prefer a free flowing product vs. having to deal with pure spice products that cake. So, going forward all SB products will contain silica to prevent caking.

Caking happening when spices settle and firm up causing the seasoning to be hard and/or come out in chunks. This happens naturally and can also cause by vibrations - like when riding in a car during shipment..ect. silica is a natural substance that help deal with the natural moisture in spices and reduce caking.

Some of the products have already changed, all will be completed by mid-year.
