Smoked Turkey
Ok....I know it has probably been covered many times, I just can't seem to find it. I plan to smoke a turkey next week. Never done it before. Can anyone give me info on brining (preferably a recipe and times) and approximate times and wood for smoking. I am going to fry a 12 pounder and smoke a 14 pounder. Can anyone think of any good sides besides the usual mashed potatoes, green bean casseroles etc.

Thanks Jim, I remember you had listed those a while back but I couldn't remember who had them...thanks again.
