I'm smoking a turkey tomorrow. I'll probably smoke it around 300 or so, with cheesecloth for most of the cook. A mixture of pecan and hickory. Here is my question. Dan's new sauce is peach - some have used it on loins. What would y'all think about a peach glaze on a turkey? It's hard for me to envison it, since the only peach concoction I'm familiar with comes in a bottle and is sold in liquor stores. Ant thoughts about a peach glaze on turkey? Awaiting your opinions!

Jack - we have been eating it a lot on roasted chicken with much success -> haven't tried it on turkey yet...I suspect it would turn out fine. Let us know how it does if you decide to go for it. FWIW - both recipes have natural smoke flavor, #1 a little heavier than #5.

Jack, I would think turkey would be OK. I like kinda sweet glaze on chicken. CF :D

Well, that settles it! I"ll use the peach on the turkey tomorrow. Gonna put it on about 10 am. Should be done around 3, since I'll be cooking it at a little higher temp. I'll let everyone know how it turns out! Thanks for the responses!
