Pike's Peak Roast Ideas

I got a couple of these in the bottom of the freezer and was wondering if anyone has done them on their smoker. Any ideas?

In case you don't already know it, Pike's Peak roast is the low part of the round, and it the least tender roast due to many small muscles with lots of connective tissue. These things are made for braising in the crockpot IMHO.

I figured it was crock pot material. I was just fishing for alternatives.
