I am wanting a sauce recipe that is good for dunking your meat in. Something between the thick store bought sauce and a mopping sauce. I don't use sauce very much, but I love a good sauce that is thin enough to put in a cup and dunk your bites of meat down into it. Anyone have a good recipe they would share? Thanks in advance...

If you're talking about beef, Aaron Franklin has a nifty sauce that I serve to guests:

Aaron Franklin’s Espresso BBQ Sauce

Makes about 7 cups.

• 4 cups ketchup
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
• 6 tablespoons brewed espresso
• 1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 tablespoon kosher salt
• 1 tablespoon coarsely ground pepper

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes. Let cool, cover and store in the refrigerator.

If you're lookin for a pork dunkin sauce here's a simple vinegar sauce recipe I like.

Vinegar Sauce

Makes about 4 cups
2 cups Apple cider vinegar
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup hot sauce
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons sea salt
1 tablespoon white pepper
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Combine all ingredients in a medium pot and stir continuously over medium heat until heated through. Do not allow to boil. Remove and use while hot or re-heat before serving.
